sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946 as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. The oldest son of Francesco Stallone Jr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). Frank Stallone is his younger brother and actor. Sylvester was left with a paralysis on the left lower part of his face because of complications during birth. He now has his iconic "snarling" expression as well as a slight high pitched voice. Due to the conflicting relationships between his parents, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. They divorced after a while. Stallone trained in drama in Switzerland at the American College before moving on to Miami University. Stallone left school in order to pursue acting in New York City.
