Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born April 24, 1982 , in Fort Worth, Texas. She is an American singer-songwriter and television personality. The year 2002 was the time she took home the American Idol talent contest. Clarkson grew up at Burleson, Texas, a suburb located in Fort Worth, where her vocal prowess was first recognized by her teacher in the choir at her school as a seventh-grade student. After graduating high school, Clarkson relocated to Los Angeles to try to be a part of the business world. In 2002, after returning to Texas, she became an contestant in the inaugural season of The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol, a singing competition that allowed viewers to choose their favorite performer. Clarkson's personality, her voice and humour were immediately adored by the viewers. Clarkson won $1 million, and an agreement recording together with RCA to be her reward.
