April Bowlby is an American actress and model from the United States. Her roles included Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. She is well-known as Stacy Barrett, the American television character on Drop Dead Diva and Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Her first job was modelling before moving to TV and films. As an extra, she had her first screen appearance in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Soon, she landed the part of Kandi in the TV show Two and a Half Men. The role she played as Stacy Barrett in the popular television show Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby an immense amount of attention around the world. In the American Web Series Titans Bowlby played the character of Rita Farr/Elastigirl. In the spin-off of Doom Patrol, she will return to the character. Bowlby was in TV films such as Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. Her debut on the big screen was with All Roads Lead Home. After that, she appeared in films such as The Slammin Salmon, and From Prada To Nada. April Michelle Bowlby was an American actress who is most popular for her appearances in the recurring role on CBS television show Two and a Half Men. Bowlby attended East Union High School in Manteca in California. Bowlby moved to Manteca when she was a child. Prior to deciding on a career in acting, she studied French as well as ballet classes at Moorpark College. She studied drama under Ivana Chubbuck and secured her first role on a major TV show (Kandi as a character in Two and a Half Men) shortly after her debut Hollywood audition. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV shows, including CSI in 2004. CSI: NY in 2005, Freddie in 2005 as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 in the role of Meg. In the past, Bowlby was cast in the role of Natasha as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a 2007 movie about a 12 year old girl who loses her mother in an auto accident. Bowlby will play Mia, in The Slammin Salmon (2008). She lives in Los Angeles. She has natural red hair as well as blue eyes. She's single and no children.
