Coleman was born at Blackpool Lancashire. She studied at Arnold School in Blackpool. As headgirl, she earned straight A grades for her A Levels. Coleman regrets not having have a typical university education when discussing her Emmerdale experience. Coleman performed in Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival in a troupe called In Yer Space, which she participated in while in the school. She was awarded an award for her performance while the show was highly praised. Coleman got the part as Jasmine Thomas while she was performing at drama school. The audition took place in 2005. Coleman got a nomination in the category of Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman has replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor following Arthur Darvill left the series and was to play the role alongside Matt Smith. Moffat chose her for the role as she performed most effectively with Smith and could talk faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's worked in film and television projects. She is more well-known for her work on television than in film. Eva has played a variety of characters on TV, however two stand out in particular: Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vistas' in CSI Miami. It was the former that brought her two nominations for a Daytime Emmy.' She also got to showcase her creativity by performing music. Alongside being an actress, Eva is a philanthropist and an entrepreneurial. She has been married three times, and has one daughter and a second husband.
